We miss you.
From Mehmet:
Paul and I have been best friends, colleagues, and confidants for an uninterrupted 40 years. Paul was a unique and wonderful, selfless person, seeing the positive in every situation with a sparkling, contagious smile on his face. He seemed to always find a way to bring any challenging time, event, and situation to a comfortable level to manage in bringing joy those who were blessed be a part of his life. He had, truly, a magical personality for dealing with any situation using his unique, personal tools such as his time, lighthearted stories, wisdom, and his humorous and joyful wit. Paul had an amazing capacity, patience, selfless desire and ability to help anyone, including me, to exit difficult and trying times while looking forward to a new start, with fun feelings, joy and hope.
Paul and I started as work colleagues at BF Goodrich then moved into our lifelong friendship, spending countless hours together at work and in our daily lives. We embarked upon developing a “game changing” technology for treating, recovering and reusing wastewater to bring a much-needed difference to the world, in combating ever growing water shortages for future generations. He was a pioneer, establishing a very successful technology to make this vision a reality. Today, this technology is commercially applied and used in a variety of applications around the globe. Paul leaves behind a significant legacy with a proven technology to treat and reuse clean and healthy water recovered from residences, municipalities, and industries.
We miss Paul’s compelling personal qualities, optimism, smile, selfless compassion, ever supporting friendship, and priceless leadership.
