Municipal

IMET® municipal Treatment Plant Modules (TPM) are installed in both small- and large- scale municipalities. These systems greatly enhance the overall treatment efficiency of sewer lift station, treatment ponds, and effluent outfalls.

IMET® technology provides economic and effective pretreatment systems to rehabilitate and provide capacity increase for existing wastewater treatment facilities. IMET technology uses factory- assembled modular package plants as well as custom designed units.

IMET® pretreatment systems require less maintenance and generate significantly reduced bio-sludge compared to traditional activated sludge systems.

  •  High surface area multi-media to sustain high concentrations and high diversity of microbial systems

  •  Proprietary aeration design enables highly energy efficient operation

    •  Minimal H2S Odor

  •  Extremely low total suspended solids in discharge

  •  Space-efficient, modular treatment units

  •  Robust

    •  Resistant to toxic shock

    •  Resistant to pH and temperature variations

    •  No loss of service

  •  Reduced retention times

    •  Residence times of 6-8 hours for digesting COD and BOD

Lift Stations:

IMET® Lift Station Modules (LSM) is used to significantly reduce fats, oil and grease (FOG), BOD, TSS and eliminate odor at municipal lift stations.

LSM provide necessary levels of dissolved oxygen to bacteria while “conditioning” the wastewater in lift stations and to provide significant reduction in BOD and in oil and grease levels in the effluent.

IMET® wastewater systems provide lift stations:

  • Reduction in total operating cost

  • Significant reduction of line blockage clean-outs

  • Elimination of odor

  • Significant improvement for pretreatment

Rehabilitation:

Utilizing Treatment Plant Modules (TPM), IMET® has the capability to design, build and service customized wastewater treatment systems as a turnkey solution. Rehabilitating the existing municipal treatment facilities.

IMET wastewater systems results in:

  • Significant capacity increase

  • Significant reduction in operating cost

  • Significant reduction in additional capital expenditure

  • Significant reduction in bio-sludge handling and disposal costs

  • Elimination of FOG collected on the surface

Key Benefits:

  • High surface area multi-media to sustain high concentrations and high diversity of microbial systems

  • Proprietary aeration design enables highly energy efficient operation: minimal H2S odor

  • Extremely low total suspended solids in discharge

  • Space-efficient, modular treatment units

  • Resistant to toxic shock

  • Resistant to pH and temperature variations

  • No loss of service

  • Reduced retention times

  • Highly efficient digestion of COD and BOD
