U.S.A. - Total Water Reuse
Wastewater Treatment
IMET Overview Presentation
As was reported in the Population Report, Vol. XXV, number 4, Dec. 1997, by Johns Hopkins
School of Public Health (www.infoforhealth.org/pr/m13/m13chap3_4.shtml#top), every year 450
cubic kilometers of wastewater is carried into coastal areas by rivers and streams. Wastewater,
depending on the country or region, must meet or exceed certain standards to be legally
discharged into such water ways. In most areas of the world water does not meet these
standards, yet is still being pumped into rivers, streams and ocean environments. Contaminants
(over 70,000 found in water) carried in this wastewater take 6,000 additional cubic kilometers of
freshwater to dilute the contaminants to safe levels, which makes up two-thirds of the world’s
total stable run-off. It is necessary that water be treated to high standards in community,
residential and municipal settings around the world. IMET Corporation has been committed for
the past 10 years to reducing pollution and maximizing total water reuse in applications such as
drinking, irrigation, and other daily water usages.
IMET Corporation provides Multi-Media Modular Treatment Systems (MMTS) to meet or exceed
the most demanding reduction of BOD, nitrogen sources and total suspended solids (TSS).
In residential and municipal applications IMET provides selected
microbial mixtures that significantly reduce fats, oils, and grease (FOG),
BOD, TSS and odor problems.
IMET dosing systems incorporate both solid and liquid microbial mixes
that can be distributed at any desired amount and interval.
IMET produces necessary robust diffuser units using micro-bubble
technology. IMET's unique design produces a high volume of micro-
bubbles which fosters exceptional aerobic growth.
IMET systems provide necessary oxygen into a liquid through superior
mixing within the device itself to treat liquid and sludge to meet required
specifications.
Hydration Technology (HTI) offers both proprietary Forward Osmosis and Ultrafiltration membrane products and systems, HTI
provides unique, innovative and cost-effective wastewater treatment solutions and system integration for the world’s most
difficult and unique industrial and municial wastewater challenges.
HTI’s unique and proprietary Forward Osmosis wastewater filtration technology is reclaiming and recycling millions of gallons
of drilling wastewater in natural gas exploration operations.
Drinking Water and Process Water Treatment
Access to potable water has become a multi-billion dollar worldwide problem that is growing with each passing day. Although
the earth is covered by water, only 2.5% is fresh and the majority of these reserves remain unavailable in the polar ice caps.
Each day, over one billion people lack access to safe drinking water. For this reason, water-borne illness has become the
leading cause of death worldwide. On any given day, over 50% of the world’s hospital
beds are occupied by people suffering from water-borne disease.
Hydration Technologies is the leading provider of next-generation forward osmosis
water filtration technology based on a proprietary membrane that converts almost any
polluted water into safe, potable drink.
In a wide range of industry, process water with stringent specifications is one of the
most critical ingredient for the final product's quality. We provide systems to achieve
process water quality to meet or exceed the requirements of the industry.

Kinetico drinking water products offer the ultimate in protection. Drinking Water System Plus models feature state-of-the-art
reverse osmosis technology, which is recognized as the most effective at reducing a wide variety of contaminants. Drinking
Water Filter models provide compact, economical water filtration.
IMET and Watts Water Technologies, Inc. provide high quality drinking and
process water through a broad range of reverse osmosis (RO) water
purification systems, including state-of-the-art ZeroWaste reverse osmosis
(RO) systems that provide bottled-quality water to homeowners, without
wasting any water. Hot water recirculating systems deliver instant hot water
at the tap, conserving water and energy. With a limited supply of potable
water, municipalities continue to increase the price of water supplied as well
as the price for wastewater discarded for treatment. Our proven line of water
pressure regulators conserve water for home and industry, providing
comfortable levels of water pressure at the point of use.
Clear Flow™ was the world's first long-life disposable faucet-mounted water filter. It's a low-maintenance and economical way
to filter water. There are three ClearFlow™ applications: Kitchen and Bath faucet filters for the home, and Hospitality faucet
filters for hotel guest rooms. Clear Flow supplies patent-protected compact water filters that create better tasting, healthier
water for up to one year without changing a cartridge.
•
Healthier Water - Reduces harmful contaminants such as lead, mercury, cysts, asbestos and many others.
•
Better Tasting Water - Clear Flow’s filters reduce bad taste and harmful odors from your drinking water including chlorine
and sediment.
•
Easy on/off lever - Switches from filtered to unfiltered water
•
Filter Status Light - Let's you know the filter is working and when it's time to replace the unit

Current estimates note that 10 percent of all coral reefs are
degraded beyond recovery. Thirty percent are in critical
condition and may die within 10 to 20 years. Experts predict
that if current pressures are allowed to continue unabated,
60 percent of the world's coral reefs may die completely by
2050 (CRTF, 2000). (http://www.coralreefinfo.com)
The system is a compact modular static system to augment existing
residential, municipal, and commercial wastewater treatment systems to
meet discharge requirements. It is economical and easy to install, move
and operate. The modular feature of the IPS enables expansion and
change in design on demand.
